Alacran Tequila, the up-and-coming Tequila company, releases their Mezcal Alacran Huichol Limited Edition bottle. The Mezcal Alacran Huichol Limited Edition bottle is a collaboration between Casa Huichol and Alacran Tequila.

Casa Huichol works with the Huichol community. The Huichols live in the mountains of the Western Sierra Madre, North of Jalisco and bordering with Nayarit, Zacatecas and Durango. The Huichols are considered one of the few indigenous people in America, who still retain much of their ancestral traditions and have been relatively free from the western influence.

It contains Mezcal Alacran, a Double Gold Medal Winner awarded by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Mezcal Alacran is made with 100% espadin agave, 46% ABV. It tastes smooth and smoky with a hint of ripe fruit flavor.

On the bottle, the Huichol decorative beadwork consists of brightly colored beads fastened with wax and resin. Every bottle is different. It is available at restaurants, bars, and fine retailers. Retail price is $350.00. The Mezcal Alacran Huichol Limited Edition bottle is distributed by Dozortsev & Sons Enterprises.
