Knob Creek Bourbon is releasing a new, limited-edition cask strength rye whiskey offering, launching just in time for Father’s Day. Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye Whiskey features our biggest and boldest rye liquid yet, and lives up to Knob Creek Bourbon’s designation of “pre-prohibition style.”
Aged for nine years and stored in Warehouse A, the oldest standing rackhouse at the distillery, this cask-strength straight rye whiskey, bottled at 119.6 proof, takes the award-winning Knob Creek Straight Rye Whiskey to the next level as an ultra-aged, unfiltered rye whiskey with unbeatably big and full spicy rye flavor.
Golden amber in color, Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye Whiskey is very flavorful, with a blend of dill and clove, fading into sweet baking spice with slight charred oak flavor. Its aroma is a blend of dill, spice, and honey with essences of charred oak. The finish is light on the tongue and lingers with warm baking spices and ends with a Kentucky Hug to remind you of its cask strength.
The whiskey was just named “Best Rye Whiskey” at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It will be available for a limited time with an SRP of $69.99 for a 750ml bottle.
