With a fiery desire and pioneering spirit to continue producing exceptional American whiskies, Smooth Ambler is excited to launch its Founder’s Series – the distillery’s 100% homemade whiskey – with the inaugural expression released being a Cask Strength Rye Recipe. 
At this time, only six batches of Smooth Ambler Founder’s Series Cask Strength Rye Recipe will be produced per year, with less than 400 total cases of product available nationwide. Whiskey drinkers will want to get their hands on a bottle as soon as it hits shelves November 2021.
Smooth Ambler Spirits believes that whether a whiskey is sourced (or as we affectionally call it “scouted”), homemade, or blended in a contradictory mingling between the two—each whiskey should be shepherded with care and dedication at every stage of the production process. This seriously good Rye, made by (mostly) serious people (like founder John Little and the Smooth Ambler Spirits distilling and blending team), is non-chill filtered and comprised of 88% Rye and 12% malted barley. It delivers notes of toasted oak, toffee, sweet black tea, and subtle herb spice.

Smooth Ambler Cask Strength Rye Recipe will be available at select liquor stores throughout CA, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NY, OH, PA, SC, TX, for a total of $54.99 per bottle. You can expect other expressions to join the Founder’s Series family in the near future.
