Spring begins Sunday, March 20, and what better way to celebrate than with some refreshing spring cocktail recipes?
Gin is an ideal spirit for springtime sippers, and Brockmans Gin is serving up a menu of original recipes. These spring cocktails pair perfectly with Brockmans’ unique recipe of botanicals, which includes traditional notes of gin with a refreshing influence of citrus and aromatic wild blackberries and blueberries.
Rhubarb 75
Ingredients:
2 oz. Brockmans Gin
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
½ oz. rhubarb liqueur
Top with Champagne, Prosecco, or English Sparkling Wine
Directions:
Chill a tall flute glass and wrap a ribbon of rhubarb around the inside of the glass. Add the Brockmans Gin, lemon juice and rhubarb liqueur to a shaker filled with ice. Shake hard then double strain into the glass and top with chilled sparkling wine.
Forbidden Fruit
Ingredients:
1 oz. Brockmans Gin
1 oz. grapefruit juice
½ oz. lime juice
¾ oz. simple syrup
5-6 mint leaves
Top with Prosecco
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients and 5 mint leaves in a shaker with ice. Hard shake and double strain into a chilled coupe glass and top with Prosecco. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit zest and a mint leaf or sprig of mint.
Berry Breeze
Ingredients:
2 oz. Brockmans Gin
¾ oz. fresh grapefruit juice
1 ½ oz. cranberry Juice
1 oz. St Germaine
¾ oz. lime Juice
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a highball glass full of ice. Garnish with a twist of orange zest and edible flowers.
