World Cocktail Day is Friday, May 13, and while we don’t need an excuse for a good cocktail, your bar can use the day to highlight some of its favorites—or some new cocktails. Check out our round-up of World Cocktail Day recipes, below.
New Perspective
Ingredients:
2 OZ Wheatley Vodka
0.5 Oz Sage Syrup
0.5 oz Cranberry Juice
0.5 oz Lime Juice
Splash of Ginger Ale
Directions:
For the syrup, bring to boil 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water. Let boil for 5 minutes. Turn off heat. Add 8 large sage leaves and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and cool. For the cocktail, mix together vodka, syrup, cranberry, lime. Shake with ice. Strain into wine glass. Top with splash of ginger. Garnish with edible flower.

Belvedere Raspberry Circuit
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Belvedere
.1 oz Lime juice
.5 oz Simple
.5 oz Raspberry puree
Soda water
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker except soda water and shake lightly with a small amount of ice. Strain into a wine glass over fresh ice and top with soda water. Garnish with 5 fresh Raspberries.

CityCenter Sunset
Ingredients:
2 oz Maggie’s Farm Rum
0.5 oz Giffard Banana
0.5 Giffard Pineapple
0.5 Lime Juice
Directions:
Mix together rum, banana, pineapple, lime. Shake with ice. Strain into rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with lime wheel.

Martinez
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz Old Tom gin
1 ½ oz sweet vermouth
Barspoon Maraschino liqueur
3 Dashes of Hella Aromatic Bitters
Orange peel, for garnish
Directions:
Fill a mixing glass with ice and add all of your liquid ingredients. Stir gently until the outside of the mixing glass is nicely frosted. Strain into a coupe and garnish with an expressed orange peel.

Sicilian Sbagliato
Ingredients:
0.75 oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco
0.75 oz Dolin Blanc
0.5 oz Dante Limoncello
2 dashes Lemon Bitters
2.5 oz Prosecco
0.5 oz San Pellegrino
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, then add prosecco and San Pellegrino.
