Cinco de Mayo Cocktail Recipes

Cinco de Mayo looks a bit different this year as COVID-19 quarantines and stay-at-home orders force everyone to celebrate at home. We’ve compiled a collection of cocktail recipes to get the party started—even at home!

Tanteo Tequila Spicy Sandia Margarita

Ingredients:cinco de mayo cocktail recipe
2 ounces Tanteo® Jalapeño Tequila
2 ounces Watermelon Purée
1/2 ounce Simple Syrup (Or Agave Nectar)
1/2 ounce Fresh Lime Juice

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled Champagne Coupe Glass. Garnish with watermelon slice.



Tanteo Tequila Dove Love Paloma

2 ounces Tanteo® Jalapeño Tequila
1 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
2 ounces Grapefruit Juice
1/2 ounce Agave Nectar

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a lime slice or a Jalapeño slice.

Los Arangos Rose

Los Arango cinco de mayo cocktail recipeIngredients:
2 ounces Los Arango Añejo Tequila
¾ ounce lime juice
½ ounce agave syrup
½ ounce grenadine

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill and combine ingredients. Fine strain into a coupe glass. Garnish & Enjoy!


Spicy Mango Margarita

2.5 oz Taffer’s Margarita Mix
1.5 oz Tequila
1 oz Pineapple JuiceJon Taffer cinco de mayo recipe
1 oz Mango Juice (or fresh pureed mango)
3-4 Jalapeno Slices
½ tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Coarse Salt

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Mix chili powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. Run a lime around the rim of your glass, then dip in your rim into the bowl, coating the rim of the glass. Fill the glass with ice and strain your cocktail mixture into the glass. Serve with fresh jalapeno slices.


Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients:blood orange margarita cinco de mayo recipes
2.5 oz Taffer’s Margarita Mix
1.5 oz Tequila
Juice of 1 blood orange
Blood orange slices for garnish

Add Margarita mix, tequila, and the juice of a blood orange to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a serving glass over a large block of ice. Top with slice of blood orange!
