Prestige Wine & Spirits Group is pleased to announce the addition of Champs de Provence rosé wine from Côtes de Provence, the world’s number one region for rosé, to its incredible portfolio of wines. Available nationwide this spring with a SRP of $17.99 – $19.99, Champs de Provence marks Prestige Wine & Spirits Group’s introduction into this exciting category.

Champs de Provence is a classic dry rosé with vibrant notes of red berries, citrus and orange blossom with a medium-body, flavorful hints of raspberry and a zesty mineral finish. A perfect partner for a wide range of dishes, Champs de Provence pairs beautifully with imported cheeses, dishes prepared with intense spices, and it can be easily enjoyed on its own.

Under the direction of winemaker Caroline Moro at Maison Denuzière in Condrieu, the final blend is carefully selected from small parcels within the regions of Trets, Peynier and Pourriéres, just south of the Mountain Sainte Victoire. The wine is harvested by hand during the night to maintain freshness and is then cold stabilized for 5 to 6 days. The grape varieties are vinified separately and the fermentation takes place over 15 days at a controlled temperature of 61°F. The wines are aged on fine lees for several weeks before being blended.

Champs de Provence is comprised of 40% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 20% Syrah and 10% Carignan and Mourvedre.
Maison Denuzière was founded in 1876 by Joanny Paret. With over a hundred years of history, Maison Denuzière’s values are closely linked to the region’s prestigious terroirs. Their wines are characterized by their freshness and the fleshiness and purity of the fruit: the combination of precise, contemporary vinification and pampered grapes.
