Perfect Daiquiri


1 oz Lime Juice
.5 oz Rich Cane Syrup
2.5 oz BlackTail Rum Mix


Shake all ingredients. Serve in a sour glass.

“Our daiquiri at BlackTail has gone though about twenty different white rum blends with another thirty or so iterations of ingredient balance. The team finally found an agreement on what our current spec is today. We use a house “Cuban” Rum blend that was created to represent Cuban rums of old, obviously we don’t get Cuban product in the States so we do a blend of four white rums from Panama, Guyana, Haiti, and Barbados. We also do flavor variations of banana, strawberry, and pineapple by doing fruit sous vide infusions of the Rum blend and cane sugar,” says Vida.
