The margarita is arguably one of the most popular cocktails, so it should come as no surprise that it has its own holiday. National Margarita Day is Wednesday, February 22, and we’ve compiled a collection of margarita recipes to help you get a jump start on the holiday this weekend.
Sweet Tart Mezcal Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz tamarind concentrate
2 oz Vamonos Riendo Mezcal.
1 oz orange juice
1 oz honey
Directions:
Combine in a shaker. Pour over ice.

Spicy Honey Margarita
Ingredients:
1 ounce lime juice
1⁄2 ounce Bees Knees Spicy Honey syrup
2 ounces blanco tequila
Salt and lime wedge for garnish
Directions:
Rub a lime wedge around rim of a rocks glass and dip in salt. Add lime juice, honey syrup, tequila and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until frosty and strain into the prepared rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Cucumber Watermelon Margarita
Ingredients:
2 parts Milagro Silver
1 part fresh lime juice
3/4 part agave nectar
4 watermelon chunks
2 slices cucumber
Directions:
Muddle watermelon & cucumber in a Boston shaker, add remaining ingredients. Shake and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with Tajin and watermelon and cucumber spears.

Smokin’ Hot Pineapple
Ingredients:
2 parts Hornitos® Plata Tequila
¾ part jalapeño rosemary syrup
½ part fresh pineapple juice
½ part fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura® bitters
Rosemary sprigs
Pineapple chunk
Directions:
Combine equal parts sugar and water with 1 jalapeño slice and 4 rosemary sprigs and bring to a boil to create jalapeño rosemary simple syrup. Add all ingredients together in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Pour ingredients from shaker to a highball glass with ice. Garnish with a pineapple chunk and rosemary sprigs.

Habanero Passion Fruit Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz. Tanteo Habanero Tequila
1 oz. Cointreau
1/2 oz. Passion Fruit Purée
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

Smoked Rita
Ingredients:
.75 oz. Tequila
.75 oz. Mezcal
.75 oz. Orange Crema
.5 oz. Agave
.5 oz. Lime Juice
1.5 oz. Charred Pineapple Mix
FireStix, for garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and stir. Strain over ice in a cocktail glass.

Spicy Mango Gummy
Ingredients:
Rancho La Gloria Mango Margarita Canned Cocktail
Chamoy
Tajín
Directions:
Add chamoy to the rim of a rocks glass then rub the rim in tajín. Add ice. Fill glass with Mango Rancho La Gloria Mango Margarita canned cocktail with bubbles. Garnish with a mango chamoy gummy.

Volley Cucumber Skinny Margarita
Ingredients:
1 Can of Zesty Lime Volley Tequila Seltzer
½ oz fresh lime juice
Sliced limes
Sliced cucumber
Pinch of Kosher salt
Directions:
In a tin, muddle 5 slices of cucumber, two lime wedges, and a ½ oz of lime juice. Add one can of Zesty lime Volley Tequila seltzer and a pinch of salt. Tumble with ice and pour into your favorite margarita glass. Salt the rim in advance (optional). Enjoy!

Spicy Pineapple Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz. Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila
1 oz. Pineapple
1/2 oz. Lime
1/2 oz. Dry Curaçao
1/4 oz. Agave
dashes of Firewater Bitters
4 Blackberries
Directions:
Directions: Muddle Blackberries in a shaker, add all ingredients over ice. Shake well and strain into an ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

Make Me Blush Mezcal Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz Vamonos Riendo Mezcal
2 oz guava
3 pieces of cherry
1 oz honey
Directions:
Method: Blend guava with water and add 2 ounces in a shaker with mashed strained cherries, honey and Vamonos Riendo Mezcal. Garnish with a cherry.

The Dano-Rita (Dano’s Tequila Spicy Margarita)
Ingredients:
2 oz Dano’s Pineapple & Jalapeno Tequila
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz Lime Juice
Directions:
Shake all ingredients and pour over ice into a highball or rocks glass. Garnish rim of glass with Tajin sugar/salt mix.

Chica Blanca
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Tequila
.5 oz. Elderflower
.5 oz. Cream de violette
1 oz. Lemon juice
.5 oz. Lavender syrup
Egg white
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and shake. Pour into a cocktail glass and serve with a cloud of smoke.

Tropical Peach
Ingredients:
Rancho La Gloria Peach
Sugar
Fresh fruit
Directions:
Sugar the rim of a rocks glass. Add ice. Add fresh fruit of choice such as pineapple and blueberries. Fill glass with Rancho La Gloria Peach. Garnish with a pineapple chunk.

Pica Piña Margarita
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Fresh Victor Pineapple & Ginger Root
1.5 oz Fresh Victor Jalapeño & Lime
1.5-2 oz blanco or reposado tequila
Garnish: pineapple wedge, lime wheel, and/or jalapeño wheels
Directions:
In a cocktail shaker, add all the ingredients, fill the shaker with ice, shake well (to chill and dilute) and strain over ice in a 10-12 oz glass. Add garnish and serve.

Spicy Verde Margarita
Ingredients:
1 part Milagro Silver
1 part Ancho Reyes Verde
3/4 part fresh lime juice
1/2 part agave nectar
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a poblano chile and salted rim.
