World Gin Day is Saturday, June 13, and what better way to celebrate than with a refreshing gin cocktail—or two?
We’ve rounded up some recipes from Barr Hill Gin for you to try below that are a fit for any summer gathering over the next few months or as a feature on your cocktail menu.

Lemon Twist Garnish

White Negroni
With vermouth blanc and the quietly assertive Suze, a softly bitter French apéritif, in place of Campari, this White Negroni recipe is as irresistible as its Italian cousin.

1.5 oz Barr Hill Gin
.75 oz Blanc Vermouth
.75 oz Suze (French Bitters)
Lemon Garnish
Directions:
Combine Gin, Blanc Vermouth and Suze in a mixing glass, and add ice. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add garnish.

0.75 oz Fino Sherry
0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
0.75 oz Blueberry Syrup
1 Egg White
Fresh skewered blueberries for garnish

Classic Gin and Tonic
A few interesting tid-bits about gin’s longtime BFF, tonic:
Tonic is made from a South American tree species called Cinchona. Quinine is extracted from the bark.
In the 1700s, a Spanish scientist confirmed that quinine helps fight malaria and Europeans started sending ships to South America to load up on the trees.
Since it is no longer used as a medicine for Malaria, tonic today contains much less quinine.
Ingredients:
2 oz Barr Hill Gin
Top with your favorite Craft Tonic
Garnish with a Lime or Lemon Wedge
Directions:
In a tall glass filled with ice, add gin, then tonic. Add garnish.
