Tales of the Cocktail Foundation Announces the Tales Headliner Series

2019 Dame Hall of FameThe Tales of the Cocktail Foundation is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Tales of the Cocktail (ToTC) 2019 schedule – the Tales Headliners Series. The Tales Headliners Series will curate pairs of top international and national bartenders and bring them together behind the bar during the festival for collaborative pop-up experiences. Each duo will receive support, hometown expertise, and New Orleans hospitality from a local bartender during their guest shift which will take place at both Royal Sonesta’s The Jazz Playhouse and Arnaud’s throughout the festival, from Tuesday, July 16th through Saturday, July 20th.

The theme of this year’s Tales of the Cocktail is “Cultivate,” which reflects the Foundation’s goal to actively engage partners and participants through thought leadership and foster meaningful connections within the hospitality industry. In keeping with this year’s theme, The Foundation felt inspired to design new programming that would spark a sense of community amongst industry leaders far and wide, culminating in once in a lifetime bar shifts.

“We recognized a unique opportunity to connect an incredible pool of talent at Tales of the Cocktail that otherwise may never have a chance to partner — whether it be that they are separated by a hundred or thousands of miles,” says Caroline Rosen, Executive
Director of Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. “Facilitating connections among the global spirits and hospitality community is the core of the Foundation’s mission and we’re thrilled to see that mission furthered with this initiative.”

The Foundation invited past participants of Tales of the Cocktail, Dame Hall of Fame members and past Spirited Awards® winners and nominees to comprise the inaugural line up. The national, international and New Orleans bartenders will each share their ethos,
knowledge, style with their team and work together to craft original cocktails.
