The blog, called “Design Buzz,” is geared at addressing today’s trends in nightclub design, tips and related buzz. Cabaret Design Group (CDG), originally rooted in the design of upscale gentlemen’s clubs and later expanded into mainstream nightclub and bar design, has considerable experience with turnkey nightclub design/build projects and strong working relationships with clients, vendors and contractors alike, as well as a multitude of fine architectural finishes.
Nightclub designer and company president Rick Uzubell, recognizing the need for bar and nightclub owners and other industry professionals to share in “insiders” advice, coupled with the relevance of today’s social networking, decided the time had come for a forum where everyone could mutually benefit by sharing the knowledge of a design professional, who deals with a multitude of industry people and design issues. The idea was timely, as CDG was in the midst of implementing changes to the company website. At present, the industry relies on the occasional feature story to gain product information, but those stories are infrequent and seldom told firsthand.
