According to The Moodie Report, the first Guinness store in the United States will be opening at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place on the Las Vegas Strip on March 17th. The famous Irish stout is over 250 years old and is one of the world’s most popular beers.
The 1,500-square-foot store will offer the largest selection of Guinness merchandise located in a single venue outside of Ireland. It will have exclusive Las Vegas-themed merchandise, including men’s and women’s clothing, pint glasses, hats and accessories. Several of the clothing items for men and women will be part of the new ‘Guinness On the Strip’ clothing line.
“When researching destinations for the first Guinness Store in the US, Las Vegas immediately jumped out at us as a perfect fit,” said Guinness Brand Director Patrick Hughes. “We want to offer our customers an experience that they cannot find anywhere in the US, and this store will surely provide that experience.”
Visitors can learn about the brewing process and the brand through visual exhibitions, and they will also be able to buy customized official pint glasses with their name or with a commemoration date of their trip to Las Vegas. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the history of the brewery through a unique touch screen, and they can even see if one of the ancestors worked there.
