Diageo recently held its annual North American Military Appreciation Day.
Volunteers from Diageo’s North American headquarters in Norwalk, and from the company’s New York office took part in “packing parties” throughout the day.During these parties they assembled care and comfort packages to be shipped to troops on the front lines.
Diageo partnered with non-profits Packages from Home and iPadsForSoldiers for this event. The event was open to all Diageo employees and community partners, and participants also included retired and active men and women of the U.S. Armed Services.
