The Best USA Sommelier Competition 2019 is a new competition organized by a dedicated group of sommeliers and wine professionals. The purpose of the competition is to select the United States’ representative to the ASI (Association de la sommellerie international) Best Sommelier of the World competition, which will be held in Antwerp from March 11 – 15th, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Entrants must register for the online exam prior to December 22, 2018. The online examination will take place on January 14, 2019. Those interested can register at BestUSASommelier.com.
