Here’s a #TBT moment for you: Back on April 6, 2009, Bar Business Magazine Editor Chris Ytuarte sat on a panel of esteemed industry experts to help judge Cherry Heering’s Accessorize 2009, the Heering World Championship in Fashion Mixing and Drink Designing, at Beekman Bar and Books, in New York City.
Flanked by mixologist Sam Ross, Benjamin Jones, then Managing Director, Rhum Clément, Abbey Glaser, the Director of Marketing for importer Kindred Spirits, and Ben Scorah, Mixologist and Managing Partner of Bar and Books, Ytuarte and the panel were tasked with selecting a winning cocktail for the New York qualifying round to be sent on to the next national tasting.
