San Francisco-Based Aperitif Maker Chris Beyer Launches Veso

Chris Beyer, CEO and Aperitif Maker of San Francisco-based Veso Inc. announced the debut of his line of direct-to-consumer craft aperitifs. Offering a refined way to elevate the drinking experience, the natural, low-proof aperitifs are made with honest and locally-sourced ingredients. Chris, with his family’s history of winemaking, was inspired to create his own all-California made aperitif to inspire meaningful experiences for those closest to him. From the start, he spearheaded Veso’s flavor development, recipe testing, and product design, mastering the skills of aperitif-making along the way. The San Francisco-based brand has officially announced its debut and is now available direct-to-consumer to those in the Golden State.

Veso makes a conscious effort to focus on more than just the product on the shelf. It is
important for the brand to bring the consumer into the artisanal process, being honest about every ingredient, and encouraging consumers to live a Veso Life:

“Our mission is to inspire a more intentional drinking culture,” said Chris. “One that is built
around people, places, and memories.”

Veso sources it’s raw ingredients from various parts of California such as; wine from Monterey County, spirits from Napa, organic fruits from Watsonville, burnt caramel from San Diego, and more. Veso’s Vanilla Nightfall has notes of warm spices and orange marmalade and is made with Mendocino Chardonnay, Grape Spirits, Vanilla Extract, Burnt Caramel, Dried Orange Peels, Fresh Orange Peel, Cacao, Cinnamon, Star Anise and Clove. Veso’s Strawberry Solstice, with bold strawberry and tart citrus flavors, is made with Monterey County Sauvignon Blanc, Grape Spirits, Organic Strawberries, Organic Raspberries, Organic Valencia Orange Peels, Organic Red Grapefruit Peels and Cane Sugar.

“I would love for Veso to one day be like a new-age winery,” said Chris. “Creating a whole
industry of drinks and places for people to experience the beauty of the aperitif, connect to the ingredients and the process, and share amazing moments with friends and loved ones.”

Each batch of Veso is created with a low-abv of 18% and is meant to be sipped simply chilled or over ice. For those who are looking to enhance their Veso experience, turning it into a refreshing Veso spritz by adding sparkling water and an orange slice is one of the many easy ways to maximize the product’s sipping potential. The brand’s mission is to make the aperitif culture more accessible while creating meaningful consumer experiences at events, in restaurants, and bar programs establishing Veso as best in class.

Veso Aperitif is currently available for purchase in California at $35 a bottle/750ml plus
shipping, or $70 for two bottles with free shipping via www.drinkveso.com, with plans of
expanding nationally in the coming months.
