Another great #TBT moment for the Bar Business crew:
On April 9, 2009, comedy legend Dan Aykroyd was in the midst of promoting his then newly launched Crystal Head Vodka brand when his whirlwind tour brought him to the New York City area, allowing the Bar Business team to meet up with the funny man to have him sign the second issue of Bar Business Magazine.
Editor Chris Ytuarte and Publisher Art Sutley presented a copy of the November/December 2008 issue of Bar Business Magazine for Aykroyd to sign. That month’s Booze News section featured an article on Crystal Head Vodka (see below), a copy of which now resides in our offices with Aykroyd’s signature overlaying the eye-catching crystal skull bottle.
Of course Crystal Head went on to sell millions of bottles in its first few years, and just over six years from the date of this signing, the brand continues its success in the marketplace, both critically and commercially acclaimed as a high-quality premium vodka.
