PKWY TAVERN TAPHOUSE AND GRILLE OPENS IN LAS VEGAS

Featuring a remarkable 250 beers that range from Anderson Valley’s Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel  Stout out of Boonville, California to Rogue’s Dead Guy Ale from Newport, Oregon, PKWY Tavern Taphouse and Grille has opened in Las Vegas.

Located at 9820 W. Flamingo Road just off the 215 Beltway, the approximately 28,000-square-foot space themed with traffic signs is owned and operated by Fine Entertainment. The taphouse will offer a menu of American comfort food and 250 beers of mostly West Coast and local brews along with a keg fridge that will feed 120 taps.

The locals-driven taphouse has introduced a loyalty club called T.E.A.M. (Taphouse Exclusive Active Member) that rewards its members for each beer they drink. The T.E.A.M. program starts at 50 for a $50 gift certificate and tops out at 1,000 for a VIP Beer God celebration that entails PKWY Tavern sending the T.E.A.M. member and three of their closest friends to a local brewery for a tour and their name enshrined on a highway sign to hang in the tavern.

The PKWY Tavern menu is a collection of American comfort food that includes skewers, flatbreads, wings, salads, sliders, and sandwiches. Signature items include PKWY’s Big Texan Burger which is a half-pound stacked with cheddar cheese, bacon, pulled pork, fried jalapeños and onion rings. Other signature PKWY items include BBQ Glazed Bacon Wrapped Pork skewers, House Smoked Prime Rib, Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich and Sunshine fish tacos. Flatbreads include Buffalo Chicken, BBQ, and the Summerlin which is a healthy creation of grilled zucchini, feta cheese, tomato, Kalamata olives and hummus topped with fresh field greens tossed in Balsamic vinaigrette. PKWY diners will also find breakfast and children’s fare on the menu.

The restaurant’s 3,000-square-foot outdoor patio will offer patrons the opportunity to play corn hole, shuffleboard, beer pong, and Jenga. PKWY’s indoor games will include classic video upright arcade machines, darts and Bowlingo as well as an array of board games including Sorry and Life. There will also be a private dining room called the Mark L. Fine Room Red Room, named for Fine’s father, which will celebrate the athletic feats of UNLV’s Runnin’ Rebels.
