BACK BAR USA’s three-day cocktail affair, “For The Love Of Cocktails,” will celebrate Las Vegas’ rapidly expanding cocktail culture and the art of mixology with a grand gala tasting event at Alain Ducasse’s Skyfall Lounge, located on the 64th floor of Delano Las Vegas, on Friday, Feb. 12.
Guests of the gala will enjoy more than two dozen specialty cocktails by world-renowned mixologists including Tony Abou-Ganim and Francesco Lafranconi; gourmet tastings by Rivea Executive Chef Bruno Riou; meet-and-greet opportunities with internationally recognized mixologists and chefs; and top-tier entertainment and other surprises throughout the evening.
“The ‘For The Love Of Cocktails’ grand gala brings a group of the world’s most talented mixologists and chefs together for a great cause,” says BACK BAR USA owner Tim Haughinberry. “We’re bringing chefs, mixologists and cocktail enthusiasts from all over together to celebrate gourmet food, handcrafted cocktails, and the rapidly expanding cocktail culture of Las Vegas.”
The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a reception sponsored by Bacardi at Franklin, located inside Delano Las Vegas. VIP guests will receive early access to the main event at Skyfall Lounge beginning at 6:30 p.m., and regular ticketholders will have the opportunity to enter the grand gala beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the grand gala are priced at $150, and are available for purchase at www.fortheloveofcocktails.com. The Helen David Relief Fund for Bartenders Affected by Breast Cancer, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a program of the USBG National Charity Foundation which honors the memory of Helen David, master mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim’s aunt, beloved bar owner and community leader who lost her battle with breast cancer. In her honor, the Helen David Relief Fund assists women in the bar industry nationwide by providing pre-screening services for breast cancer.
