According to Drink Business Review, Sidney Frank Importing Company, an importer of international spirits and liqueurs based out of New York has teamed up with an independent Irish-owned distillery to launch an Irish whiskey called Michael Collins Irish Whiskey in the United States. Michael Collins 10 Year Old Single Malt and Michael Collins Blended Irish Whiskey will be available in the U.S. in January.

The Michael Collins Irish Whiskeys are handcrafted at the Cooley Distillery in Ireland, considered to be the only distillery in Ireland to double distill its whiskeys and use peated malted barley.

The bottles feature the Celtic Trinity Swirl that symbolizes the three pillars of independence represented by Michael Collins, the Sidney Frank Importing Company, and the Cooley Distillery. It also has the icon of Michael Collins on a bicycle.

Michael Collins 10 Year Old Single Malt is available in 750mL size for $39.99, and the Michael Collins Blended Irish Whiskey is available in 50mL, 750mL, and liter sizes for $26.99-$28.99.
