Thinking Inside the Box

Andegavia Cask Wines introduces three new varietals and expands distribution in New York, New Jersey and New England Markets.

Andegavia Cask Wines, the first-ever sustainably-packaged luxury wine brand, today announced the addition of three exciting new varietals of Napa and Sonoma Valley wines to its existing upscale wine portfolio. The company’s expansion comes at a time of unprecedented growth for the brand, which is growing its retail presence in Massachusetts and recently gained distribution in the New York metropolitan area and New Jersey.

Through the company’s national e-commerce platform offering exceptional wine with direct-to-consumer delivery, Andegavia is pioneering a new category of wine in the U.S., combining unparalleled quality, convenience and high design. Each beautiful, eco-friendly Andegavia cask holds the equivalent of four 750 ml bottles, stays fresh for up to four weeks once tapped and provides savings of 30-40% over comparable bottled wines.

“As a result of Andegavia’s launch at the Nantucket Wine Festival, the company experienced quarterly revenue growth of nearly 400% in the first half of 2014,” said Andegavia founder & CEO Gavin Macomber. “Our sleek, eco-friendly packaging, combined with high quality blends from Napa and Sonoma Valley, have been well received by even the most sophisticated everyday wine drinkers. We are excited to announce our three new cask wines in time for the holiday season as we continue to expand our retail footprint in key markets and grow our nationwide e-commerce business.”
