Just in Time for Cinco de Mayo, the number one airline has teamed up with the award winning spirit Tequila Avión to bring passengers a custom-made version of the celebrated drink, the World’s Greatest Margarita, which features Avión Silver.

To introduce the exciting new on-board menu offering, cocktails will be complimentary for thousands of passengers on transcontinental flights out of JFK, LA and San Francisco on May 4th and 5th. The entire fleet will be rolling the cocktail on its menu this month and will offer 25,000 additional complimentary World’s Greatest Margaritas to passengers throughout the summer.

Tequila Avión’s TV commercial will debut nationally on Friday (5/4) evening on ESPN. Although the agave-based spirit is usually known for its bite, Avión proves to be the new, infinitely smooth tequila experience slated to change the game, as articulated in the ad’s tagline, “Pain has its place, just not in tequila.”  Additional details can be found below.
