Remy and Edrington Expand Relations

Remy Cointreau USA Inc. announced that it has extended its distribution agreement with The Edrington Group under which it will still exclusively represent The Macallan, Highland Park, and The Famous Grouse Scotch whiskies in the United States, as well as newcomer Brugal rum in the U.S. market. The agreement goes into effect immediately, with Brugal joining in January 1, 2011.

The Edrington group has also renewed its association with Remy Cointreau Travel Retail Americas, Inc., which will also continue to handle its premium Scotch whisky brands in North American duty free markets along with Brugal rum. Cutty Sark brand will also be a part of this, and will be handled at the duty free point of sale in North America exclusively by Remy Cointreau Travel Retail Americas.
