The Whyte & Mackay brands swept the annual Beverage Testing Institute Awards in the Single Malt Scotch Category. In total, The Dalmore and Jura expressions were awarded 19 medals, four of which were platinum. Scores for both brands have been consistently high over the past 3 years. The Dalmore 1974 scored the second highest rating of 99 points while 10 other expressions scored more than 95 points.

“It is competitions like the prestigious and well regarded Chicago BTI that help set the Whyte & Mackay brands apart for our trade partners,” says Dawn Lambert, Marketing Director, Whyte & Mackay Americas. “More importantly, it recognizes our talented Master Distiller, Richard Paterson and this is a great honor for him as well.  In the highly competitive malt market it is truly uplifting to be able to create a discernable difference between your brand and the next with accolades bestowed by independent experts,” she continued.

Lambert concludes, “Scores for The Dalmore and Jura expressions have been consistently high since the brand re-focused attention in the US market.  This re-affirms the quality of the brand with key influencers in the market.”
