Old Nassau Imports Names Lloyd Successor

Old Nassau Imports, LLC., the spirits innovation company known for its award-winning ultra-premium Double Cross Vodka, today announced the appointment of D. Ross Arthurs as Chief Executive Officer. Arthurs succeeds Old Nassau Imports CEO and co-founder Dr. Malcolm M. Lloyd who died in an automobile accident April 24, 2014.

Arthurs, who has held the position of Chief Financial Officer since joining the company in 2009, worked hand in hand with Lloyd and co-founder John Gellner to shape the direction and overall strategy of the business.

Prior to joining Old Nassau Imports, Arthurs was a partner at Princeton Investment Partners, Ltd., which specialized in working with emerging growth companies and crisis management at closely held businesses. He led an equity investment in the Double Cross Vodka brand and later served as a management consultant to Lloyd and Gellner, providing strategic counsel and leading the development of the company’s finance department, before joining the company full-time as CFO and a member of its Board of Directors.

“Malcolm was a talented entrepreneur and a charismatic leader who invested in the development of a strong team to build Double Cross,” said Ross Arthurs, Chief Executive Officer, Old Nassau Imports. “In carrying Malcolm’s vision forward, we will redouble our efforts and continue to grow the Double Cross brand in a way that will honor Malcolm’s vision and ensure our long-term success.”

“We are fortunate Malcolm had the foresight to develop a succession plan that ensured an experienced and capable leader was in place to take over leadership of the company if called upon,” said John Gellner, co-founder, Old Nassau Imports. “Ross Arthurs is that leader and we know he has the leadership, experience and passion necessary to carry the company and brand forward.”

Arthurs has more than 30 years of experience in business management, with a focus on strategic planning, finance, marketing, crisis management, restructuring and raising capital.  In addition to his roles at Old Nassau Imports and Princeton Investment Partners, Arthurs’ past experience includes roles as Vice President and Partner at private investment firm TBM Industries, as President, Imperial Division of The Pullman Company, a refrigeration and air conditioning developer and marketer, and as Marketing Director and then Chief Financial Officer at a meter manufacturer division of The Signal Companies.
