New Guinness World Record Broken: Largest G&T by USBG

OMonday, November 5, the Guinness World Record for “Largest Gin & Tonic” was broken by United States Bartenders’ Guild’s (USBG) Las Vegas Chapterand Fever-Treethe world’s leading producer of premium tonics and mixers.

Known by industry experts and bartenders across the globe for their “Mix with the Best” initiative, Fever-Tree can now add “Mix with the Biggest” to their resume. Additional information about the world-record breaking G&T, is below:

  • Largest G&T, By the Numbers: The alcoholic drink was 249.99 gallons (previous record- 181 gallons); over 400 bottles of Empress 1908 gin, and 165 gallons of Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic water were used along with On Monfsy, the USB5.5 gallons of lime juice
  • Making History and Raising Awareness: The event raised more than $10,000 for the Month of Memory campaign from Keep Memory Alive, a non-profit whose mission is to provide enhanced treatment and ultimately cures for patients and their families suffering from neurocognitive disorders
  • What Happens in Vegas, Benefits the World: A group of Las Vegas’ most well-respected bartenders got together for this cause at the Apex Social Club inside the Palms Casino Resort with the city’s skyline as the backdrop; not their average bartending night, but an unforgettable experience, nonetheless.
