Sobieski Vodka launches a new promotion to raise funds for Fisher House Foundation

Sobieski Vodka announced plans to renew its multi-year support of the Fisher House Foundation, a unique partnership that supports active and veteran members of the U.S. military by providing housing for their families while military members are being treated at VA hospitals nationwide. So far, the Fisher House Foundation has saved military families more than $235 million in lodging and travel expenses.

Just in time for the holidays, Sobieski will continue its successful “Save & Donate” program, which links consumer rebates to corporate donations.

Through the Save & Donate program, consumers are able to submit mail-in rebates for up to $5 per bottle of Sobieski Vodka purchased between October 1 and January 31, 2015. Sobieski will match that rebate as a donation to Fisher House.

Save & Donate program case cards, case glorifiers, and table tents are now available from local sales representatives across the country.

“The heart of the Fisher House program has always been to serve those who serve our country and their families,” said Ken Fisher, Chairman and CEO of Fisher House Foundation. “Since 1990 we have helped support more than 200,000 families during the most trying time of their lives. We could not continue to build these comfort homes without the continued support of the American public and partners like Sobieski. Sobieski’s generosity will continue to have an impact on military families for years to come.”

Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes at which military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.  These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, and in Europe, close to the medical center or hospital it serves. Fisher Houses have up to 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths.  Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room and an inviting living room.  Fisher House Foundation ensures that there is never a lodging fee.  Since inception, the program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $235 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.
