Elijah Craig Bourbon is pleased to announce its second annual Old Fashioned Week, a ten-day celebration designed to raise a glass to the time-honored cocktail while raising money for the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation (RWCF), an organization dedicated to uplifting the hospitality industry. Presented from October 15-24, 2021 via an in-person and digital format, discerning imbibers are invited to toast their favorite Elijah Craig Old Fashioned while enjoying signature programming that highlights the quality and expert craftsmanship of the award-winning bourbon.
First launched in 2020 as a means to provide relief to its beloved hospitality industry, Elijah Craig created Old Fashioned Week and partnered with RWCF to raise $100,000 for the advocacy and action nonprofit that gives back to restaurant workers. This year, understanding that the industry is still deeply in need of support, Elijah Craig pledges to donate up to an additional $100,000 for the cause.

Celebrating Elijah Craig Old Fashioned Week
This October 15-24, 2021, participants are invited to join in the celebration and toast to Elijah Craig Old Fashioned Week. As a commitment to partnering with the RWCF, Elijah Craig pledges to:
Donate $5 for each photo of an Elijah Craig Old Fashioned that’s uploaded to Instagram using the hashtag #oldfashionedweek and tagging @elijahcraig. Those who post will be automatically entered into the Old Fashioned Week Sweepstakes which will select 500 winners at-random to receive an Elijah Craig Home Bar Kit (featuring Elijah Craig merchandise for creating the perfect at-home cocktail).
Donate $1 for every online sweepstakes registration for the Elijah Craig Home Bar Kit. The Old Fashioned Week Sweepstakes photo contest and online registration begins September 1, 2021 via social media and www.oldfashionedweek.com.
Additionally, during Old Fashioned Week, Elijah Craig is rolling out a variety of in-person events across the United States to bring participants together — safely — to rekindle the magic of a good time shared over an Old Fashioned. Participating bars and restaurants will
feature a riff (or two, or three…) of a unique Elijah Craig Old Fashioned for guests to enjoy and partake in the festivities. Bars and restaurants that wish to join in the fun may register at OldFashionedWeek.com to be featured on the interactive heat map launching in August.

.25 oz. Simple Syrup
3 Dashes of Bitters
Orange Swath
1 Brandied Cherry (optional)
Instructions:
