When father and son saunter into your bar this weekend, we have a few special Father’s Day cocktails you can offer, built especially for dear old dad.

He always knew the best way to catch a fish, how to find the wind in a sail, how to mend a broken heart, and still today he imparts the best life advice— all, free of charge. Some of Dad’s best counsel comes during conversation over a shared cocktail, so this Father’s Day, give a gift that sets the stage for sipping and shared wisdom with dear old dad.

A true taste of history, The Real McCoy trio of rums is created from the legacy of pioneer rum runner, Bill McCoy. Just as McCoy never adulterated his goods, The Real McCoy is produced using only top quality black strap molasses and proprietary yeast — after all, Dad deserves nothing but the best.

Single batch rum, aged for 3, 5 and 12 years in toasted American oak Bourbon barrels, each of The Real McCoy’s three expressions — unique in their own right — is ideal for sipping neat, on the rocks, or mixing into a delicious cocktail. In honor of Father’s Day, mix up the Papa McCoy, an improved riff on a classic.

This Father’s Day, Basil Hayden’s has partnered with top San Francisco mixologist Zachary Brian Taylor to create the Basil Hayden’s Dad’s Day Off. As Zachary says, “the rich, dark flavors of rosemary and brown sugar pair exceptionally well with the spiciness of Basil Hayden’s Bourbon. The extra kick of ginger adds just enough heat to make this a drink that any dad (or man) would be proud to enjoy!”
