Death on Tour

Authors David Kaplan, Alex Day and Nick Fauchald announce the official launch of their national book tour for the recently announced inaugural book, Death & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails. When Death & Co burst onto the scene nearly a decade ago, the establishment and unrivaled talent behind the bar revolutionized the art of drink-making, ushering in a new era of cocktail culture. Now, the Death & Co family will bring the spirit of the famed cocktail bar across the country with a series of unique pop-up experiences.

Kicking off at the Bowery Hotel in New York City on October 7th in conjunction with the official public release of the book, and in partnership with Liquor.com, the book tour will feature takeovers of the top bars in ten cities by some of the best bartenders in the business. The pages of the book will be brought to life for consumers and industry tastemakers alike in an evening of spirituous revelry, where Death & Co bartenders will create the iconic libations that have garnered them praise around the globe.

One week after the New York launch, the tour, which will be produced by Double Barrel Consulting, hops coasts to take the celebration to California at David and Alex’s own Honeycut — the elegant cocktail bar, boisterous discotheque hybrid nestled in a quiet alley in Downtown Los Angeles. Guests will convene to toast the release of the book, enjoy bottomless cocktails and leave with their own copy of Death & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails. Tickets to events on the Death & Co book tour, which will make additional stops in Portland, San Diego, Washington D.C., Boston, Miami, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco and Denver, are available to the public via Eventbrite.
