ImporterConnect is a new service available to wine and spirit suppliers to help them find the right importer in the United States. The service can match the needs of a given producer with just those importers that fit their criteria.
“Until now, there really was no efficient way for foreign suppliers to find and quality prospective importers in the U.S. In order to find the right importer, suppliers need more than basic contact information. They need to know details about prospective importers’ businesses,” said Steve Raye, Managing Partner at Brand Action Team.
ImporterConnect is customized for each supplier and allows offshore suppliers to have a person in the U.S. conducting the search for them.
“Not only it is a much more efficient system, it opens a much wider window of candidates for both suppliers and importers,” said Jean Erickson, VP at Brand Action Team. “We’re in contact with hundreds of importers that don’t attend the big industry shows so many suppliers would never have the opportunity to meet them otherwise.”
