Beam Global Wine and Spirits, the largest United States based spirits company in the world, announced the appointment of Albert Baladi as President of Europe/Middle East/Africa, effective March 5, 2011.
As President of one of the company’s three global regions, Baladi will lead Beam Global’s growth strategy in the region, with all sales, marketing, and functional areas reporting to him. Baladi will serve on Beam Global’s executive leadership team and report directly to the President and CEO Matt Shattock. Baladi will be based out of Madrid.
“This past year we outperformed key markets in the region, including the UK, Spain, Germany, Russia and Travel Retail, and we see further upside as we leverage our strong brands, enhanced routes to market and high-performing organization that’s built to win,” said Shattock. “Given Albert’s proven track record of leading impactful international growth strategies, we are certain he is the right individual to lead our EMEA team.
