TouchTunes is happy to announce the 2014 Breakout Band Contestant Playlist is now live on all US jukeboxes as of August 7, 2014.
Indie bands from across the country were asked to submit an original song for their chance to win a single release with Photo Finish Records, $3,000 and a national music promotion on TouchTunes.
Fans of competing bands will be encouraged to download the TouchTunes mobile app, find locations and blast their favorite band’s music at their favorite local hangout. A panel of music experts, including Matte Galle, Photo Finish Record’s President and Senior A&R of Island Def Jam, will evaluate entries based on various criteria including creativity and originality of music and public appeal. The winning band will be announced in late September.
