Bacardi’s Fans “Liked” It Live in New York City

On June 2, Bacardi hosted their “Like it Live, Like it Together” kick-off event at the Gansevoort Plaza on the west side of Manhattan. The event had everything that Bacardi’s Facebook fans said they “Like” the most, including robots, the world’s largest skateboard, flair bartenders, and pizza from a pizza truck.

Queensbridge rap legend, Nas, joined by Power 105.1 morning host DJ Envy on the turntables, performed live as part of the event. The free concert hosted by Elvis Duran was part of an effort to help Bacardi bring people together. Nas informed his crowd of fans that he is ready to make his re-entrance into the rap game with his newly titled album “Life is Good.” He was also overheard telling funnyman actor, Anthony Anderson, who stopped by to watch him perform, “The new album’s style is timeless and it will feel fresh to fans.”
