Ads for Better Boozing Habits

According to The New York Post, the city Health Department unveiled its latest campaign yesterday at changing the drinking and eating habits of New Yorkers, urging them to go “easy on the holiday cheer.”

The two posters will run in subways during the holiday season, coming two weeks after the Health Department said there were more than 70,000 emergency room visits last year that were alcohol-related.

Dr. Thomas Farley, the city health commissioner, said the ads were necessary to counter all the potential for binge drinking during this time of year.
