Ciroc Vodka, Sean “Diddy” Combs and E! Entertainment have partnered with the NYC Department of Transportation, the NYPD, and the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission to reward the safe drivers of New York City.
The Safe Rides initiative, a program started by Ciroc, is designed to celebrate the designated drivers of the city while providing free transportation home in an effort to promote responsible decision-making behind the wheel.
As part of the program, Ciroc and the NYC Department of Transportation will distribute thousands of pre-paid debit cards to adult customers at high traffic locations in three New York City boroughs beginning December 2nd. The cards are valued at up to $25, and are redeemable exclusively in taxi cabs, livery car services, and MTA and NYC subway ticketing booths through January 1, 2011.
