Over the weekend in Stuttgart, Germany, actor Patrick Dempsey raced the MARTINI car in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The iconic Italian winemaker, MARTINI, has a longstanding history in the world of racing. Similarly, Dempsey has a well-documented love of motorsports and even said if he had to choose between racing and acting, he would choose racing! He said, “The job as a race driver is much more satisfying than acting. Not a lot changes in television work, but in racing things change constantly – every lap, every corner and every moment of the day. I find racing very exciting.” He described the challenge of balancing his love of racing with his acting career saying, “The Hollywood folk and especially the people at Grey’s Anatomy are very cooperative and understanding. It’s never easy but I’m supported by several great people in both acting and motorsport.”
