The New York Bar and Wine Show, set to take place from June 28-29th in New York City will be introducing a new spirits competition this year. The New York World Wine and Spirits Competition will provide a showcase for quality beverage products, many of which will be featured at the Bar and Wine Show.

A stellar panel of professional experts from both the wine and spirits worlds has been recruited to act as judges. The competition will take place the day before the Bar and Wine Show begins and the sweepstakes finals will take place during the Bar and Wine Show’s first day. Winning wines and spirits will be available for tasting at a special booth open to all show attendees, which will provide a unique service for both the exhibitors and attendees.

Entries for the spirits competition may be any commercial spirits, and there is no limit to the number of entries per producer. The completed form must be received by June 17, 2011, and the entry fee is $400 per spirit entered. For the wine competition, the entry fee is $100.
