Once again, the good folks at Westchester Magazine are helping local bar and restaurant owners kick off the summer business season by showing off some of their best burgers alongside the county’s best beers at the 2016 Burger & Beer Blast.
As most bar owners know, a burger and beer pairing may be the most commonly ordered summer menu combo, and this year’s participating venues — all local to Westchester County, New York — have the chance to get a jump on the competition by showing what they can offer this season. The Burger & Beer Blast will take place June 9 at Kensico Dam Plaza County Park in Valhalla, New York.
The 6th Annual Wine & Food Festival will take place between Wednesday, June 8 and Sunday, June 12 at various locations throughout Westchester County. As part of the annual Festival, the Burger & Beer Blast is just one of many highlight’s of this year’s overall event, which will include:
* (Burger & Beer Blast) NEW! The Empire City Casino tent will provide a special area where there will be black jack tables, craps, and roulette.
* (An Evening with Westchester’s Tastemakers) NEW! This year, double the amount of chefs (20) serving and a new location – Ritz-Carlton, Westchester ballroom.
* (Grand Tasting Village) NEW! Celebrity chef demos Saturday June 11th:

— 1pm: Michael Psilakis, MP Taverna
— 2pm: Donatella Arpaia, Food Network
— 3pm: Peter Kelly, X2O Xaviars on the Hudson & Kathie Lee Gifford, NBC’s Today Show
