Esquire Network Best Bars

So much more than comically tall hipster bikes and ill-conceived neck tattoos, Brooklyn sprouts several hidden bar gems that are right up there with the country’s best. Here to discover all that Brooklyn can be are comedians Jay Larson and Sean Patton—former Brooklynites, best friends, and stars of Esquire Network’s new show, Best Bars in America.

Armed with Esquire Magazine’s “Best Bars in America” list from notable cocktail historian David Wondrich, the duo head cross-country in this 10-episode series to take in booze at the best of the best. The Brooklyn episode airs next Wednesday, July 30th at 10/9c, with special guest appearances by comedians Hannibal Buress and Janeane Garofalo.

Among countless brews downed in the borough, the duo stops in at:
Bushwick Country Club – The pair plays straight up mini-golf at this divey spot. Hipster? Certainly. Undeniably awesome? You bet.
Tooker Alley – Sipping on “hobo juleps” at Del Pedro’s place gives the thrill of riding a boxcar cross-country without leaving your barstool.
Floyd – Hannibal Buress joins the boys for shots, beers, and bocce ball—call it the dive bar Triple Crown.
As well as Maison Premiere (with appearance by David Wondrich), Cobra Club, Tørst, Clover Club, and Radegast Hall & Biergarten.
