According to The Wall Street Journal, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s French wine collection was auctioned off at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong and sold for 5.6 million dollars, including the 21 percent buyers premium.

The six-hour auction at Sotheby’s Hong Kong had the room filled to capacity, with bidding done online, over the phone, and in the room. The top lot was a 1982 case of Chateau Petrus that went to an Asian buyer for $77,564.

Asian buyers dominated the sale, online bidders competed for 53.2 percent of the 746 lots, and bought the top 10 lots, which included bottles of chateau Petrus, Lafite, and wines from the estate Domaine de la Romanee Conti.
