According to Drink Business Review, White Rock Distilleries, a manufacturer and importer of fine spirits and liqueurs, has hired Southern Wine & Spirits of Illinois and Southern Wine & Spirits of New York as its statewide distributor partners in the two regions, effective March 2011.
Southern Wine & Spirits of America general manager Brad Vassar said that in Illinois, the company knows the decision to consolidate distribution within the state with Southern is an important strategic move for White Rock.
“We are also honored White Rock has entrusted Southern with its brands across New York State,” Vassar added.
White Rock Distilleries is run out of Lewiston, Maine, with more than 100 brands and a capacity in excess of five million cases.
Southern Wine & Spirits of America is a national wine and spirits distributor with operations in 33 markets in the United States. It also holds operating licenses and permits in Nebraska and Texas.
