TouchTunes Celebrates 40-year Anniversary of Woodstock with Special Playlist

TouchTunes interactive entertainment network is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the famous 1969 festival at Yasgur’s Farm with a special playlist to mark the occasion. Beginning August 18, the TouchTunes Woodstock Playlist will be available on over 25,000 digital jukeboxes across the country and features a selection of the most popular tracks by the performing artists from Woodstock including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Mountain, Ritchie Havens, Arlo Guthrie, Joe Cocker, The Who, The Grateful Dead and many more. woodstock.jpg
“The Woodstock Playlist makes it easy for friends to create their very own party to commemorate the occasion at their favorite TouchTunes location,” said Vicki Saunders, vice president, digital media and music marketing. “And the TouchTunes’ sound and experience is an amazing way to enjoy those iconic rock anthems of peace and love all over again.”
The TouchTunes Woodstock Playlist includes 44 of the most memorable songs performed at the original festival, as well as Joni Mitchell’s follow-up tribute “Woodstock.” The playlist includes a mix of live and studio recordings of the top tracks such as:
