Tito’s Launches Nationwide Music Fan Contest

According to PRNewswire, Tito’s Handmade Vodka is launching a contest for fans to compete for the opportunity to serve as the company’s roving blogger at four 2012 popular music festivals, including Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza.

From July 1, 2011 through October 31, 2011 the contest will be open to anyone interested in attending the music festivals and serving as the Tito’s event blogger, responsible for creatively capturing highlights of their experience on behalf of the vodka-maker. The prize package will include two VIP tickets to each music festival, with all travel and festival expenses paid for by Tito’s Vodka.

“Tito’s has been heavily involved with live music since the inception of the brand here in Austin, the live music capital of the world,” said Nicole Portwood, Brand Manager of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. “This year, we are excited to offer the opportunity for someone to come with us to experience some of the greatest live music events in the country and share those experiences with the world.”

To enter, entrants must submit a headshot of themselves, an artistic photo that is representative of how they see the world, an essay describing why they are best suited to be the event blogger, and a two-minute video demonstrating their unique perspective on the world of music. Company-elected judges will rate each entry based on factors such as creativity, relevance to live music and overall quality of work. the winner will be announced December 1, 2011 on the company website, http://www.titosvodka.com.
