TITO’S HANDMADE VODKA SWIMS TO FINLAND

Tito’s Handmade Vodka, America’s original craft vodka, is now available in Finland. Oy Norex Spirits began distribution of the brand in on- trade.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka, a Texas based company, is one of the fastest growing micro distilleries in the United States. Tito’s Handmade Vodka received early recognition when Tito’s earned the Unanimous Double Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition in 2001 over 71 other vodkas, including established and more expensive brands. Tito’s Handmade Vodka has also been awarded 95 points by Wine Enthusiast and was recognized with the “UCC Chairman’s Trophy” for World’s Best Vodka Tonic at the 2010 Ultimate Cocktail Challenge. Tito’s Handmade Vodka has also been named the 2014 Spirit Brand/Distiller of the Year by Wine Enthusiast’s Wine Star Awards.

“We are excited to bring Tito’s Handmade Vodka to the Finnish market and to partner with Oy Norex Spirits for distribution,” said Bert “Tito” Beveridge, Founder and Master Distiller.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka is made from corn, giving it a sweeter, rounder finish than vodkas made from wheat and potatoes. The brand has seen strong sales growth in the US, driven mainly by word-of-mouth recommendations from consumers who enjoy the smooth flavour of the pot-distilled spirit. Today the brand is sold within the United States, the United Kingdom, and throughout Europe and Asia, as well as through United Airlines and American Airlines.

“Tito’s Handmade Vodka is an award winning craft vodka from America and we are thrilled to be the distributor for the brand in Finland. It’s a dynamic brand with a great taste at a great price point,” said Marika Rekola Product Manager, Oy Norex Spirits.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka has an ABV of 40% and will be available to consumers in Finland as a 70CL bottle.
