Three More American Mixology Ideas for July 4th

With July 4th a few days away, what’s more American than American Harvest Organic Vodka and … um, Jägermeister?

Here’s a few cocktail ideas from both:

American Harvest Firecracker: Whether you’re hosting a party or attending a friend’s, wow guests with these all-American cocktails that will keep them cool AND bring out their inner patriot.

American Harvest Firecracker

1.5oz American Harvest

3/4oz Fresh lemon juice

3/4oz Concord grape syrup

Soda water

Methodology:

Combine equal parts Concord grape juice and sugar in a large container and shake until dissolved. In a shaker, combine all liquid except the soda. Add ice and shake well. Strain into a Collins glass full of fresh ice. Top with soda and gently stir. Garnish with a lemon slice.

1.5oz cherry-infused American Harvest

1/2oz Honey syrup

1/2oz Barrows Ginger Liqueur

3/4oz Lemon juice Crispin Cider

3 dashes Orange bitters

Methodology:

Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl. Stir well and serve.

Salted Peanuts

1.5oz Jägermeister

Can/Glass bottle of Cola

Methodology:

Drop salted peanuts directly into top of Cola bottle and let soak for a few minutes. Pour ice cold shot of Jägermeister. Enjoy shot and then finish off with cola and peanuts.
