Future Fusion POS in partnership with ATX has developed a product that uses smart phone technology to give the customer greater control over transactions they make at bar and nightclubs, and eliminates the possibility of over-charging or identity theft. The TabbedOut application, available currently for the iPhone and Droid (the Blackberry version will be available soon) allows the patron to view and pay their bar tab using their phone rather than waiting for their paper check.
The process is simple: the bar patron sets up the app on their smart phone, and then selects the establishment in the search functions. They then present the bartender or server with a unique code generated by the application, then the bartender enters the code into the Future Fusion POS system, which links up with the cell phone. At that point, the patron can pay their bill whenever they want without presenting their credit card or waiting for the bartender.
