THE BELLTOWN PUB HELPS HARD LUCK HOUNDS AT THEIR “PUP SOCIAL”

Ulti-Mutt Yappy Hour Benefits Seattle Animal Center Foundation

In Seattle, Washington,  Friends of Fido were invited to a special Belltown Pub “Pup Social” on September 26.  The Pub traditionally holds a gathering for canines and their companions on the last Wednesday of every month. During the September social, the restaurant paired with the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation for the ulti-mutt yappy hour fundraiser.

A paw print of the evening featured pooch plates, a dog brew, and special spirits for two-legged escorts like Shelter-tinis, Whisker Sours, and Laughing Dog IPA.  The Belltown Pub also offers a bone-shaped “The Belltown Pup” menu daily, with four nutrient-rich choices, ideal for dogs in all life-stages.

Twenty percent of the proceeds from the specialty drink menu and ten percent of the proceeds from all items on the pub’s standard happy hour menu—both food and beverage—were donated to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation supports programs and initiatives from veterinary care and adoption programs to neglect investigations.  The non-profit promotes healthier pets and a stronger, safer community.

The Belltown Pub owners Erwin Arceo, Zach Nethercutt and Dave Tolan opened their 5500 square foot bar and eatery in August 2010, located in a historic former sleeping bag factory in downtown Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood (2322-1st Avenue).  The Pub is committed to offering top quality veracious drinks, great eats and craft beer seven days a week. It is also proud of its dog friendly status and offers a “Belltown Pup” menu.   The doors are open daily from 11 – 2 am; for lunch Monday-Friday 11 am – 3 pm; and offers Happy Hour “every damn day” from 3:30 – 6:30 pm and 10 pm – 1 am.  BTP Catering and “Pub & Go” box lunches are available 7 days a week.
