Tanduay Asian Rum Makes Its Mark on the Map at Miami’s Drink Around the World Festival

On Saturday, January 25, Tanduay Asian Rum, along with a variety of spirits from across globe, gathered at the iconic Moore Building in Miami’s famous Design District for the Drink Around the World Festival, the first annual fundraising event celebrating international spirits.

Tanduay held a location on the VIP floor where four custom infusions were offered. The first combined Tanduay Silver Asian Rum, pomegranate, fresh mint and Lillet Rose. The second incorporated Tanduay Silver, blended pineapple, burned sage, earthy wild flavors and Cointreau. The third infusion also mixed the smooth flavor of Tanduay Silver, kiwi, mint and the citrus flavor of Lillet Blanc. The last one mingled Tanduay Gold Asian Rum with starfruit, sweet sugarcane and Domaine de Canton, to create a toasted and tropical treat.

With an event passport in hand, attendees ventured across “the map” to sample over 100 hand-picked wines, vodkas, rums, tequilas, whiskeys, gins and microbrews, accompanied by light bites from local Miami restaurants. One hundred percent of the event’s proceeds benefited the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida.
